Setting Up A Syndicate
A great way to improve your chances of winning the lotto is to start or join a syndicate.
Syndicates are groups of people, usually friends that club together to buy their lottery tickets and any winnings are shared equally between them.
Although a great fun way to play the lottery, setting up a syndicate does need a little organising.
Firstly you need to think about how many people you want to be in the syndicate and who those people will be. Once this is decided you will need to appoint a manager whose job it will be to purchase the tickets, collect the monies and distribute the winnings.
Remember that lottery winnings will only be paid to the holder of the ticket so the manager needs to be someone you trust, you should also have a wriiten agreement set up to protect everyone in the syndicate.
The agreement should include:
- The date the agreement was drawn up.
- The names of the people in the syndicate.
- The managers name.
- What the numbers will be or how they will be choosen.
- How much each member will pay and when.
- How the winnings will be shared out.
- What will happen if a member does not pay.
- Do the members want publicity.
Every member of the syndiicate should be given a copy of the agreement, it should be dated and signed by everyone and also witnessed by someone in authority eg Doctor or Solicitor.
It is also good practice to get everyone in the syndicate together at regular intervals so that any problems can be discussed and invite new ideas etc.
Running a syndicate does require some organisation but well worth it when you consider it is statistically proven that the more entries you play the better your winning odds are.
Of course playing on line helps to ease things, you could even buy your tickets a month in advance if everyone agrees and this way you can be sure your numbers are on.
So if you are setting up a syndicate please follow these guidelines which will protect everyone concerned and dont forget to have a look at our lotto site which has lottos from all over the world!
Good Luck!
